Mind · the slower thread

Stilla

Coming soon

A meditation app that remembers.

Quiet, with memory.

The meditation app category is the most mature and the most repetitive in wellness. Calm, Headspace, Insight Timer, Waking Up — each is a static content library wrapped in a different aesthetic. Open the app, browse the library, press play, close the app. None of them remember you. None of them know what kind of day you had. None of them know how you slept.

Stilla is not a meditation app. It's a mind practice with a coach who knows you. Today's session is shaped by yesterday's. Your journal carries. Vin sees the whole week of your practice and proposes one thing for this morning — not a carousel.

Without Stilla

The library you stopped opening.

  • A carousel of meditations you don't know how to choose between.
  • An app that forgets you the moment you close it.
  • A journal feature that's a blank page nobody comes back to.
  • Streaks framed as something you can lose — sleep tracker, but for guilt.
  • Therapy in one app, meditation in another, journaling in a third, no thread.

With Stilla

A quiet practice with one thread.

  • Daily session, suggested not sold — Vin picks one based on what it knows.
  • Journaling with memory — text, voice, or a single sentence. Vin notices themes across weeks.
  • Sunday reflection from Vin — a short note on the week's threads, surfaced when you open the app.
  • Therapist bridge (opt-in, per-entry) — your therapist arrives at hour two of the conversation, not hour zero.
  • No streaks. No badges. No social. Stilla cares about consistency, not totals.

What Stilla will do

Seven pillars of a calm mind practice.

Stilla is the explicit opposite of Calm's 'discover, start, unlock.' The differentiation is the relationship, not the catalog.

Daily session, suggested not sold

Each morning, Vin proposes one practice — sized for today, chosen by context. Morning restorative if Vesper saw poor sleep. Energizing focus if today is dense. Somatic if Saunter logged a hard session. One tap to start, one tap to swap, one tap to skip.

Journaling with memory

Three modes: text, voice (Whisper-transcribed), or quick (one sentence + three feeling chips). Prompts when you want them, silence by default. Vin gently names recurring themes — "work boundaries," "the move," "the panel."

A small, deliberate library

80 sessions at launch, not 8,000. One narrator. Each session has a point of view. No generic content. Audio essays from the Shantivita Journal appear in the library.

Therapist bridge

Opt-in per entry, never blanket. Pre-session digest compiled by Vin so your therapist arrives prepared. Therapists don't reply in Stilla — Stilla isn't a messaging app.

Sleep-tied meditations

Vesper's morning download feeds Stilla's journal (consented). A poor-sleep morning gets a 6-minute restorative, not a 20-minute focus. The 3am-wake protocol pre-loads breathwork on your lock screen.

Phase-aware suggestions

Lumara hand-off. Luteal mornings get gentler practices. Follicular mornings get energizing focus when the calendar is dense. Vin just picks the right thing — no cycle mode toggle.

The Shantivita loop

The mind in the same thread as everything else.

Stilla completes the practice. By the time it ships, you have body, nutrition, sleep, labs, and cycle. Mind is the last face.

01

Vesper → Stilla.

Last night's sleep score arrives each morning. Poor sleep → restorative morning suggestion. The dream journal entry (consented) flows into Stilla's journal thread. One voice note serves two products.

02

Lumara → Stilla.

Current phase informs the session type. The member never sees a "cycle mode" toggle. Vin just picks the right meditation.

03

Saunter → Stilla.

Walking meditations sync with Saunter's walk coaching. A 40-minute outdoor walk can have a 12-minute walking-meditation piece dropped into it.

04

Stilla → therapist.

Per-entry consent. Pre-session digest of the week's shared entries + meditation cadence + flagged themes. The therapist starts at hour two of the conversation, not hour zero.

05

Stilla → quiet.

No streaks shown. No "minutes meditated" badges. No social. No re-engagement nudges. One notification ceiling per day. Stilla is private by design.

Vin · in Stilla, Sunday morning

“Three themes ran through the week: a quiet question about whether the new role is the right one, the same sentence about your mother on Tuesday and Friday, and Wednesday's sense of having a lot of space. Want to sit with the question of work tomorrow morning — eight minutes, breath-and-reflect?”

A practice with no streaks, no badges, no noise.

Stilla follows the rest of the family. Join the early-access list and we'll let you know when the first sessions open.
