Measurement · when you're ready
Hale
The graduation tier — not the entry exam.
Labs without interpretation theater.
Most longevity apps stop at interpretation. They label your bloodwork green/yellow/red and leave you to figure out what to do next. The value evaporates the moment you close the app.
Hale flips that. Labs are the brief. The daily product is the protocol — and the protocol lives inside the apps you already use. Hale is the orchestrator that turns a panel into changes in how you eat, sleep, and move, and then proves at re-test which changes mattered.
Without Hale
The lab loop you can't close.
- Function, InsideTracker, Levels — you pay, you get a dashboard, you close the app.
- Markers labelled "green/yellow/red" with no daily product attached.
- Reference ranges that say "are you sick" — not "are you well".
- No way to know which of your changes moved which number.
- Family history and supplements live in a different app, or no app.
With Hale
A panel that becomes a practice.
- Plain-language interpretation, anchored to healthspan-optimal ranges — not just clinical ones.
- HealthKit Clinical Records ingest — your labs flow in from Labcorp, Quest, hospitals, all of it.
- Healthspan Compass + PhenoAge biological age, trended over years.
- 12-week protocols that write themselves into Nouri, Vesper, Saunter.
- Re-test attribution: which interventions actually moved which markers.
What Hale actually does
Seven pillars of measurement and action.
Hale isn't a dashboard. It's a coach with the labs in one hand and the protocol in the other.
Lab intake & interpretation
HealthKit Clinical Records on day one. Photograph any paper or PDF lab and Vin OCRs, normalizes, deduplicates. Every marker explained in 2–3 sentences with literature citations.
Functional ranges, not just clinical
Both ranges visible side by side. The clinical bar is "are you sick." The functional bar is "are you well." The single visual that makes Function worth $499/yr is the floor here.
Biomarker trends, not snapshots
Every marker plotted across every panel you've ever uploaded. Drift detection flags markers that are still "in range" but trending the wrong way over 2–3 panels.
Healthspan Compass + PhenoAge
Composite biological age from labs, functional tests, and lifestyle. Transparent formula — you see which lever moves the number most.
12-week protocols
Each protocol has a target marker, daily numeric goals, a supplement stack, and a re-test plan. Published, citable, and inside the app before you commit.
Outcome attribution at re-test
A one-page report after every protocol: which markers moved, your adherence per intervention, and Vin's honest read on which interventions did the work.
The Nouri loop
The part competitors structurally can't copy.
A standalone lab company can't see what you ate. A standalone food app can't see your ApoB. Shantivita can, because it's all one Vin.
Hale prescribes daily targets.
An ApoB protocol sets fiber ≥ 40g, sat fat ≤ 10g, omega-3 ≥ 3g. Those numbers become Nouri's active goals — Nouri's meal coach nudges toward them on every plate.
Vesper holds the sleep window.
If the protocol needs 7.5 hours by 10:30 lights-out, Vesper's evening check-in nudges toward that window. Adherence flows back to Hale.
Saunter closes the movement loop.
Zone 2 minutes, strength sessions, mobility frequency — whatever the protocol calls for, Saunter coaches it. The member sees one Zone 2 ring; behind it is Hale.
Apothecary ships the stack.
The protocol's supplement stack appears in Nouri's schedule with reminders. The Apothecary auto-ships at the protocol's cadence — adherence-anchored, not subscription-anchored.
Re-test tells the truth.
At week 12, the next panel comes back. Hale produces a one-page report: which markers moved, your adherence per intervention, and Vin's best-honest-guess attribution. No other app writes this report.
Vin · in Hale, at re-test
“Over 12 weeks: you hit fiber target 71% of days, took Wellspring 89% of days, Zone 2 minutes 54%. Your ApoB dropped 23 mg/dL. Fiber and omega-3 are the strongest contributors based on your panel changes; lifting Zone 2 in the next cycle projects ApoB into your goal range of <70.”
